Walking into a church for the first time can feel a little uncertain — we want to make it easy. Whether faith has been part of your life for years or you’re just beginning to explore, you’re welcome at Devoted Church. Here’s what a Sunday morning with us looks like.
As you pull in, our parking team will be outside to help guide you and point you in the right direction. When you walk through the doors, you’ll be welcomed by our greeters, who are happy to answer questions and help you feel at home. Our ushers will then help you find a seat so you can settle in and take a breath.
Our Sunday services are centered on worship, Scripture, and community. We begin with a Call to Worship, inviting us to turn our hearts toward God together. Worship music is contemporary and led by our worship team.
Prayer and Scripture are woven throughout the service. Before the message, children are dismissed to Children’s Church. Pastor Miguel shares a message from God’s Word that is practical, thoughtful, and rooted in Scripture. About once a month, we also share Communion together, open to all who follow Christ. We close our service with worship.
Children are always welcome in our worship service. We believe kids grow in faith by being part of the church family, so a little movement or noise is never a problem.
During the message, children from 3 years old through 5th grade are invited to Children’s Church, where caring leaders help them learn about God in ways that are engaging and age-appropriate.
Nursery care is also available for our youngest children, starting at the beginning of the service.
Come as you are! There’s no dress code at Devoted. You’ll see plenty of casual dress, and what matters most is that you feel comfortable.
After the service, feel free to stop by the Information Center, fill out a Connect Card, or simply say hello. If you’d rather reach out ahead of time, you’re always welcome to call or email us. We’d love to connect and help you take your next step at Devoted.
